Timeshare values are over priced, if you consider them via a “dollar amount”. If you value your family vacations, a timeshare has unlimited value.

If you are wanting to buy a timeshare and want a good, fair value, buying on the resale market is the way to go. If you buy from the resort itself, you are paying more than you need to. Its just like buying a new car. Buying from the dealership cost much more than buying a 3 month old car or even a year old car.  Granted, you can buy any used car that is “like new” and get a great deal.
